Recover weathered crude and tank bottoms

In places where crude oil lakes exist due to previous over production or where heavy oil has accumulated at the bottom of holding tanks - The Ionizer can economically create value from the feedstock and, in the case of oil lakes, return the land to its original state

Simple Process

·         Mix fresh crude or diesel with weathered crude or tank bottoms - Pass through the Ionizer

o   Continuous process in mud-tanks for large volumes of weatherd crude or sludge

o   Batch process (~ 7hours) for tanks bottoms

·         Knocks out all water, organics/biomass and solids

o   Water in crude reduced to < 1%

o   Upgrades the blend

§  Increases the API beyond conventional mixing

·         Produces a homogenous crude oil blend

o   Extent of upgrading varies with feedstock

§  Example: 4 sludge + 20 crude + Ionization = 16 API blend

§  Example: 5 tank bottoms + diesel + Ionization = 30 API blend

§  Testing: requires 20 litres of sludge & 20 litres of crude

Recovered crude can be blended with current production
